DESCRIPTION:Dates:  Wednesdays, Sept. 3 – May 6, 2026\nFormat:  In-Person and All are Welcome\nTime:  6:30-8:30p\nLocation:  Room 223 | Manchester UMC\nLeader:  Jana Lippard\nDescription: This Bible study group will begin with an overview of eight Christian denominations and faith traditions. Then this in-depth Bible study class will focus on select books of the Old and New testaments. \nWeekly reading and class discussions will bring understanding of the scriptures and how they bring meaning to our daily lives. We will focus on Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Soloman, Hebrews and Revelation. \nThis class will be using the following books:  Christianity’s Family Tree by Rev. Adam Hamilton, Immersion Bible Study books:  1) Hebrew; 2) Revelation; 3) Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon.  The total cost for a set of these books is $65.\nAll participants are welcome to begin the evening with fellowship at the (optional) Community Dinners immediately before class. \nChildcare is available with advance registration.\nThis group is not meeting on:  Nov. 26, Dec. 24, Dec. 31, Feb. 18 (Ash Wednesday), and Apr. 1 (Holy Week).\nRegister by Wednesday, August 13 in order to receive these books by the first class.\n\n
