DESCRIPTION:Date:  Sunday, April 5, 2026\nWorship Time:  TBD\nLocation:  North Parking Lot (Fellowship Hall if inclement weather) | Manchester UMC\nIt is the tradition of Manchester UMC that our youth lead the annual Easter Sunrise service! Please read below regarding what each role entails, then enter the registration and let us know how you would like to lead. Click here to sign up by March 29. Sign-ups will open in late February.\nBand Member\nBand members will be expected to attend rehearsals ahead of the event, arrive at 5a that day, and play/sing during the service. If you would like to sing/play in the band, do not sign up at the link! Instead, email Austin at Austin.shariff@manchesterumc.org by March 5, 2026. \nSet-Up\nThe set-up crew should arrive an hour early and check in with the director. They will be expected to help set up chairs, tables, and breakfast items. They should make sure to wear comfortable shoes since they will be moving a lot. After they are done setting up, youth are free to sit with their families.\nGreeters\nGreeters are expected to be present fifteen minutes early in the North Parking Lot and check in with the director. They will be provided bulletins, will be assigned spots, and will be expected to greet people to the service with a smile. At about 6:15a, greeters can go sit with their families. After the service, they are expected to stay and help clean up.\nReaders/Speakers\nReaders/Speakers should arrive fifteen minutes early and check in with the director. Their parts will be emailed to them no later than Thursday evening and their parts will be printed for them on Sunday morning. Parts could include reading scripture, saying a prayer, talking about the connect card, etc. I’ll also email the bulletin ahead of time so they can see when their part is in the context of the rest of the service. They should practice their parts ahead of time so they are prepared on Sunday morning. During the service, they should sit in the front row so they can easily get to the microphone when it’s their turn. After they speak, they are welcome to go and sit with their families for the rest of the service. After the service, they are expected to stay and help clean up.\n
