Description: Curious about how today’s religious landscape stacks up against the teachings of Jesus? Or hoping to get better at having meaningful, constructive conversations about faith? Come be part of a reading and discussion group exploring the New York Times bestseller Separation of Church & Hate by John Fugelsang. Fugelsang—known for his work as a comedian, actor, and interviewer—brings insight, humor, and the occasional spicy turn of phrase as he reflects on the crossroads of faith and public life.
Through stories, wit, and practical tools, he challenges readers to rediscover a Christianity centered on love, compassion, and integrity. This class isn’t about politics. It’s about digging into scripture, exploring what Jesus actually taught, and learning how to engage others with grace and clarity. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your voice. Come join the conversation, learn something new, and maybe even have a little fun along the way.
